My mother was born in 1925,her name was Elizabeth,but when she was a youngster she was known as Lizzie by her parents and siblings.Later when she met my Dad she was called Betty and thats the name everybody knew her as.She had 12 children and had a hard life trying to rear them and keep them on the straight and narrow,and didn't do a bad job either.My Ma Enjoyed most of her life especially the bingo(she loved going there).She had a wicked sense of humour and I miss the laughs we used to have so much,and the wee bits of gossiping we had as well.She liked a good laugh,but did have a serious side as well.She passed away unexpectedly last year which came as a big shock to the family,because I think we expected her to last forever as she was such a strong character.Wee Betty as my family called her is missed so very much by us,and we think of her every day.8/7/25-18/10/2006...
